Here's Vlad!


About Me

Vladislav Krutskikh was born on 19 June, 1995, in Voronezh, Russia and started singing at the age of five. Today, he is studying stage-singing and dance at Volshebniki Dvora (Magician's Court) variety-studio for children and singing in the groups 'Street Magic' and 'Heroes'. Vlad is the only musician in his family. His mother, Tatyana, is a home-keeper and his father, Vitaly, is an engineer in the fishing industry.

In 2002, Vlad was awarded first prize at the Applause International Contest in Latvia. A year later, he became the Laureate of the Let Children Laugh International Children's Art Festival in Moscow. His success story continued in 2004 when he received the Grand Prix at The Star International Children's Music Contest in Ukraine and in 2005 he was awarded two gold medals at the International Performing Arts Championship in Hollywood, USA, in the 'Voice of Word' and 'Broadway Music' categories. He placed 9th in the Junior Eurovision 2005 competition in Belgium. In 2007, along with seven other 'Magicians', he performed at the 28th Annual Young Artist Awards in Hollywood, California, where Street Magic were honored with the award for Outstanding Young International Variety Group. In March, 2009, they returned to the USA, as guest artists for the 30th Annual Young Artist Awards. Vlad is now a tenth-grade student in Voronezh. He is fond of bike rides with his friends and his favourite animals are his cat, Phyodor, and dog, Kleopa.

About Street Magic

Street Magic was formed in 1989 by its artsistic director, Vitaly Ososhnik. Over the years, the group have become well known for their live concerts and tv specials all over Russia and Eastern Europe.
